Exciting Planned Move of Premises

We are delighted to have agreed a move to Derbyshire County Cricket Club’s new Media Centre complex.

We will move into the office space on the fourth floor of the new complex in September 2016. Further communication will be issued to all clients and insurer partners nearer the time.

Our Managing Director, Richard Salt said ‘This is a fantastic move for Bell & Co. When we set out our relocation plan, key features for us were the quality of the working environment, an image to match our professional approach, great amenities for our growing team on site and ease of access with parking for our clients, staff and insurers. With this move, we have exceeded our targets in all these areas with a club who are a true partner for us. We believe we have secured the best new office space in our Derbyshire heartland and we are all very proud and excited about our future.’

The new state-of-the-art Media Centre has been funded by a £2million grant from the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB), which will be received over seven years, with bridging finance supplied by Derby City Council.

Chief Executive, Simon Storey said: “It was vitally important to us to get a commercial tenant for the top floor of our new Media Centre and we’re delighted that the Club’s long-term preferred Insurance Partner, Bell & Co will be moving in later this summer.

The rental income will provide a secure source of long-term income. In the short term, it will help pay off the interest on the City Council bridging loan.

“Once the loan has been paid off, the income from our Media Centre tenants will go straight into the cricket budget as we continue our investment both on and off the field. We are also grateful to the ECB and to Derby City Council for their financial support for our project, allowing us to continue to improve our facilities for both Members, spectators and partners.”
